Kaveh Vahdani, MD

Mr Kaveh Vahdani is a Consultant Oculoplastics, Lacrimal, and Orbital Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London since 2019. His post-graduate training includes fellowships at both Moorfields and Bristol Eye Hospitals. Committed to medical education, Mr Vahdani actively engages in the training and development of ophthalmologists both locally and internationally. He is involved in numerous teaching initiatives, including co-organising bi-weekly international oculoplastics lecture series and serving as the Deputy Director of Undergraduate Ophthalmology Teaching at St George’s University. His work extends beyond clinical practice and education, as he engages in voluntary medical services in Africa and Asia, demonstrating a commitment to improving ophthalmic care globally. Mr Vahdani has also made significant contributions to the field of ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, authoring numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His scholarly work covers a range of topics including the presentation and management of orbital tumours, orbital inflammatory disease, lacrimal surgery, and anophthalmic socket surgery.
